Selamat datang di Pendididikan Profesi Dokter Hewan, yang merupakan program jenjang profesi bagi sarjana kedokteran hewan, dengan lulusan bergelar dokter hewan. Pendidikan Profesi Dokter Hewan atau PPDH Fakultas Kedokteran Hewan Universitas Airlangga, menerapkan sistem pendidikan yang akan menghasilkan lulusan siap pakai yang telah memenuhi kriteria kompetensi dari seluruh bidang yang diikuti, yaitu meliputi Manajemen Bisnis Veteriner dan Akuakultur, Terapeutika Veteriner, Etika Dokter Hewan dan Kesejahteraan Hewan, Sistem Kesehatan ( One Health) dan Perawatan Hewan, Koasistensi bidang Patologi Veteriner, Mikrobiologi Veteriner, Parasitologi Veteriner, Kesehatan Masyarakat Veteriner, Reproduksi Veteriner, Klinik Veteriner, dan Praktek Kerja Lapangan Hewan Besar, Perunggasan, dan Taman Ternak Pendidikan.

- Visi Misi
Visi Misi Program Studi Kedokteran Hewan selaras dengan visi misi Universitas Airlangga dan Fakultas Kedokteran Hewan. Visi program studi yang mencerminkan Visi Universitas Airlangga dan Fakultas Kedokteran Hewan yaitu pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi dalam bidang veteriner dan ilmu peternakan yang diimplementasikan secara konsisten.
Menjadi program studi terkemuka di tingkat nasional maupun internasional, pelopor pengembangan pendidikan dan penelitian dalam bidang Kedokteran Hewan serta Peternakan, yang mandiri dan inovatif berdasarkan moral agama, etika, kelestarian lingkungan hidup dan kesejahteraan hewan dengan tetap berorientasi pada kesejahteraan masyarakat.
- Menyelenggarakan pendidikan profesi dalam bidang veteriner serta peternakan yang berbasis teknologi pembelajaran modern, yang dapat menghasilkan lulusan dengan kemampuan profesional serta keinginan kuat untuk mengembangkan ilmunya, berjiwa entrepreneur, yang menjunjung tinggi moral agama dan etika
- Menyelenggarakan penelitian dasar, terapan dan penelitian kebijakan yang inovatif dan berkualitas tinggi dalam bidang veteriner serta peternakan untuk menunjang pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan, pendidikan dan pengabdian masyarakat berlandaskan moral agama, etika, kelestarian lingkungan hidup dan kesejahteraan hewan
- Mendharmabaktikan keahlian dalam bidang veteriner serta peternakan kepada masyarakat.
- Terwujudnya hubungan kemitraan yang saling menguntungkan dengan institusi terkait dalam rangka mewujudkan kemandirian fakultas yang berorientasi pada mutu serta kemampuan bersaing di tingkat nasional dan Internasional.
Veterinary Professional Education
The objectives of the Veterinary Professional Education Program are aligned with the vision and mission, the objective are:
- To produce highly qualified and dignified graduates who can integrate, apply, and develop veterinary and animal husbandry sciences, enabling them to compete at both national and international levels.
- Generate innovative research that can solve problems in society and promote the advancement of knowledge and technology in the fields of veterinary and animal husbandry.
- Deliver community service initiatives that empower the community to independently and sustainably identify, formulate, and solve problems related to veterinary and animal husbandry.
- Establish a study program that is independent, adaptive, creative, and proactive in responding to the demands of advancements in knowledge and technology within the fields of veterinary and animal husbandry.
- Develop an entrepreneurial-minded study program that is world-class excellence, grounded in national values, religious morals, ethics, environmental sustainability, and animal welfare.
Veterinary Professional Education
The graduates of the Veterinary Professional Education Study Program are expected to have profiles as follows:
